Phoenix Arts Centre - Phoenix Square
I met my husband in the old Phoenix Arts in their friendly folk club. They’ve built a new Phoenix now, with all mod cons and facilities, but that old, dusty one will always have a special place in my heart.

The new one looks very nice, but I can't help but like the old one. Old buildings like that can have so much character.

ReplyDeleteI liked the old one too but it was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter (or funnily enough too hot!) and the seats were not great. The new one is my choice of cinema in Leicester now. So comfy and such great picture/sound and (slightly) cheaper than the mulitplexes.
