So many times we walk along the street without once looking up. Anyone who loves architecture would love this view that I caught on my phone yesterday but do you recognise it?
Hi Ros .. my guess is the St Pancras Station or the hotel just there .. ie London! But that's more sleuthing and sheer guess work .. I hope all is well ...
It does look like Moscow doesn't it ... lovely snapped photo - cheers Hilary
What a tease you are! Hilarious to offer Leicester or Moscow :o) I was away the day they did geography at school, so I've got nothing... ah go on, tell us!
In the village where my kids live they had a competition one year. Someone had taken "up" photos and printed them, and people could be seen walking round the High Street for days gazing up at the buildings identifying chimneys and cornices and bricked-up windows.
What a lovely building, I expect its a in Leicester....the Town Hall maybe. Or is it somewhere in Moscow :)
ReplyDeleteIt's not Leicester Town Hall, Andrea, and I certainly wasn't in Moscow yesterday, no way!
DeleteWestminster Abbey?
ReplyDeleteNo, it's not Westminster Abbey, Shelly but thanks for the comment :-)

They for sure were not shy about spires. I wouldn't think the British would go that wild with spires. Are you abroad?
ReplyDeleteIs it the Grand Hotel in Leicester? (though those windows look religious?)
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew, Ros, but wherever it is, it looks very impressive!
ReplyDeleteI've always loved buildings with tall spires and delicate things on top.
ReplyDeleteLovely pic - I have no idea where you were. I'm guessing not in Texas. Have a great weekend

ReplyDeleteOn the contrary, Jane, I was neither in Leicester nor was I in Moscow!
